Implementation & Training Specialist
(Full Time)

Position Summary:

Developing a deep understanding of the Novo software, target customer operations, and configuring the software to meet customer needs. Providing support, assisting with testing updates, meeting with customers, documenting requirements, configuring solutions, and training new users.

Primary Responsibilities

    • Learning the Novo ShareNet software
    • Customer meetings and support calls to gather requirements, review configuration, and adjust settings
    • Define timelines and milestones with customers
    • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines
    • Migrate customer data (CSV/Excel or SQL-based databases)
    • Configure ShareNet (Forms, List Views, Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, GIS)
    • Train customers on software usage
    • Follow up post‑implementation
    • Provide technical support as needed
    • Test and advise on new features
    • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • IT-related degree or equivalent experience desired
  • Customer support experience desired
  • Municipal department knowledge preferred
  • Experience with ticketing or data management systems
  • Process improvement experience a plus

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable follow‑through
  • Comfortable communicating by phone, video, and in-person
  • Fast software learner
  • Familiar with web software, Internet, email, MS Office
  • Good typing and note‑taking skills
  • Able to work independently
