Summary:
The Utilities Department for the City of Otsego, Minnesota, oversees water and wastewater treatment, along with full distribution and collection systems. The department includes 12 staff members. As operations expanded and reporting demands increased, the department recognized that its basic task-tracking methods were no longer sustainable. Leadership needed better asset tracking, inventory visibility, work order history, scheduling, and long-term data to support budgeting and staffing decisions. After evaluating options, Otsego Utilities selected NovoGov to modernize and centralize operations into one flexible system.
